Notarization Requirements
To facilitate a seamless and efficient notarization processs, please ensure you have the following documents readily available:
Required Documents:
1. Government-issued photo identification
( driver's license, passport, state ID )
2. Original document to be notarized
3. Completed document ( do not sign until instructed )
Accepted Identification:
1. California Driver's License
2. California State ID
3. Out-of-state ID's
4. U.S. or foreign passport
5. U.S. military identification card
6. Tribal ID's
7.Driver's license issued by an authorized Canadian or Mexican public agency

Attempt to coerce or influence the notary

Engage in fraudulent or unlawful activities
Penalties for Non-Compliance

False or misleading information: up to $5,000 fine and/or 5 years imprisonment (California Penal Code 115)

Document tampering: up to $10,000 fine and/or 10 years imprisonment (California Penal Code 132)
